Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.

Water is one of the main components of maintaining healthy skin. Studies show that if the outermost layer of your skin is not hydrated it can lead to dryness, the skin being flakey, tight and less resilient. When the skin becomes less resilient you are more prone to wrinkles. Water reaches the skin last in the hydrating process which is why it is so important to be drinking more than 64oz. of water per day, helping your skin from the inside out.

Stay safe under sun exposure.

Too much exposure to UVA and UVB rays can lead to a sunburn. To cut the risk of sunburn and potential skin conditions or problems, you must protect yourself with sunscreen.

Get enough sleep.

Skin cells begin the rejuvenation process at night, repairing the damage that has been done throughout the day. Sleep boosts the production of substances needed to protect and renew. Some other implications of losing sleep include:
  1. Worsening skin conditions
  2. Detraction from skins natural beauty
  3. Accelerates the aging process

Exercise regularly.

Exercise is great for your lungs, heart and mental health. Increasing the blood flow helps nourish skin cells and keep them vital. It is especially important after a workout to clean your skin and rid any bacteria, to prevent buildup.
